Newzoids
This is a topical puppet animation sketch show that pokes fun at different pop stars, politicians and television stars. The show depicts our most talked about celebrities in a way they have never been seen before.
The Octonauts
A children's animated series broadcast on CBeebies each week day morning. The Octonauts are a group of heroes who live in the world's oceans and have different adventures in the oceans.
Popetown
This is a cartoon with obvious parallels to Vatican City and the Catholic Church. But on the other hand, there are also many differences. Firstly, it's Popetown, not Vatican City. Secondly, the 'Pope' is a very young boy (who sounds like a girl), with all the character flaws and immaturity of youth, unlike the real-life scenario where Popes have typically been elderly men (the youngest Pope in history was reported to be about 18, although there is debate and uncertainty about that).
Fur TV
"Fur TV" is a British sitcom about the residents of Furry Avenue, where people and puppets live side-by-side. The main characters are three puppet housemates - Lapeno, a diminutive but sauve ladies' man; the quiet, lazy, but loyal "fatboy", Eddie; and Mervin, a naive loser who's always having to be rescued by his friends.
Monkey Dust
A cutting edge comedy animation painting a fabulously warped satirical view of Britain ...
I'm Alan Partridge
Alan is a self-obsessed DJ who has had several TV jobs in the past (including chat show Knowing Me Knowing You) and has failed to bounce back from his long dead career. Each episode normally sees Alan resorting to embarrassing anecdotes, insulting someone without noticing and failing to revive his career. In Series One he lives in a motel after a divorce leaves him homeless.
