A teen stuck in the afterlife decides to investigate her mysterious disappearance alongside a group of other students who are also stuck in limbo at their high school.

High school BFFs Astrid and Lilly, outcasts whose lives become more complicated when they accidentally open a portal to a terrifyingly quirky monster dimension. The fate of the world is in their hands and they must embrace "the badass heroes they were meant to be"-while also surviving the horror of high school, according to the network.

Northern Rescue follows widowed Search & Rescue officer John, as he moves his family to a small northern town and navigates new challenges. As the family struggles to adapt to their new surroundings and cope with the loss of their mother, they must also learn to accept help from their new friends.

The original idea for "Degrassi: Next Class" was to be the 15th season of The Next Generation, but under a new title. After learning of the series cancellation in November 2014, the producers pitched the idea of Next Class to Nickelodeon, who later passed on the idea. The producers then sought out other means to distribute the series and later made a deal with Netflix.

"Degrassi: The Next Generation" takes place 14 years after the cult hit show "Degrassi Junior High" as students continue to deal with the obstacles of being a teenager. From issues like relationship problems, homosexuality and bullying to more darker issues like rape, school shooting and death.
