Boy Meets Girl
Drop out-DIY employee Danny Reed experiences a major identity crisis when he's struck by lightning - causing him to switch bodies with a female fashion journalist called Veronica Burton. Danny's first reaction is to find out where the person he used to be has gone. But it soon dawns on him that no-one knows! Will they ever get their bodies back?
Bodies
When Rob Lake (Max Beesley) begins work in a maternity unit, he soon comes to suspect that his new boss, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Roger Hurley, may be incompetent. He tries to turn a blind eye, but one of Hurley's blunders leads to a young mother being left brain-damaged and her baby stillborn. Rob watches a fellow doctor being hounded for attempting to bring the incompetence to light, seeing the ranks of the establishment join together to protect one of their own. He realizes he must risk his career to put a stop to Hurley's negligence. Meanwhile, his passionate affair with colleague Donna leaves him alternately confused and hungry for more.
This riveting medical drama series, starring Max Beesley, Keith Allen and Patrick Baladi developed a cult following with its gritty story lines and gruesome theater scenes, during its two series on BBC.
Teachers (UK)
Teachers was a highly successful Channel 4 comedy, which followed a group of immature teachers working at Summerdown School, in Bristol. The theme song for the show was "The Boy With The Arab Strap" by Belle and Sebastian.
