The New Fantastic Four (1978)
The New Fantastic Four was an animated series produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, and featured the talents of both of The Fantastic Four's creators - Stan Lee (as one of the series' writers) and Jack Kirby (as a storyboard artist), as well as the comics writer Roy Thomas behind the series. The series is famous for not including the Human Torch/Johnny Storm character from the comics and replacing him with the original character of Herbie the robot (who would later appear in the original comics). This was done due to the fact that the character of the Human Torch was optioned for a live-action version at around the same time, and not, as some people have mentioned, due to network concerns that children would set themselves on fire to emulate him.
The Godzilla Power Hour (1978)
GODZILLA! And Godzooky! GODZILLAAAAAAAAA!!! Ah, yes. The Godzilla Power Hour. The old 70's cartoon created by Hanna-Barbera, was about a giant lizzard who could breathe fire, shoot red lazers out from his eyes, and fight monsters, too. This monster was originally a Japanese monster, but this guy was developed into a cartoon beast. The episodes feature Godzilla battling nothing but gigantic monsters. He does get help from some people, and his son.
Characters: Captin Carl Majors is commandor of a ship known as The Calico. He is in charge of a device to call Godzilla when ever he and his crew are in danger.
Dr. or Prof. Quinn Darian is a scientist who works with Capt. Majors on The Calico
Brock is Quinn's assistant. He is at his mid 20s and is alway ready to help.
The Addams Family (1973)
The animated series of the weird, wealthy family as they find things pleasing that most people would just rather avoid. There is Gomez Addams, the father of the family and his wife Morticia. Their children are Wednesday, who loves to torture anything in her reach, especially Pugsley, who takes those tortures in delight almost as much as food. Then there is Uncle Fester. He loves explosives, any you usually find him with ash all over his face. Grandmama is a witch, and can usually brew something up. They also have a butler, Lurch and a dismembered helping hand named 'Thing', Instead of greetings guests, Thing tends to just scare them off. Occasionally, Cousin Itt stops by. Cousin Itt is a tiny, mass of hair who mumbles instead of speaking.
The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Huckleberry Finn and his friends, Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher, travel from one animated world to the next, always followed by the same villain, Injun Joe. The gimmick is that Huck, Tom, and Becky are live action characters and everything else is animated.
The Addams Family
"The Addams Family" centers around one of the two "creepy" families that premiered on television in 1964. The Addams Family consisted of Gomez and Morticia Addams and their two children, Pugsley and Wednesday. Also included are Uncle Fester, Grandmama, the hairy Cousin Itt, the butler Lurch and Thing!
