Shortly after Daniel, or DD as everybody knows him, starts working at the hotel, one of the owner's daughters disappears. He must do whatever it takes to find her and bring her home while still solving the ever-changing problems of the exclusive hotel guests.
During the incursion in a mob boss' hideout, Police finds a Virgin Mary plastic sculpture which weeps blood. There is no answer to the mystery, but the power of the enigma will make crazy the people who will get in touch with this event, derailing their lives.
The series is set in Italy in the midst of the political turmoil of the early 1990s and follows a young police detective attempting to root out corruption and organised crime.
