Private Tenshou Gakuen is a school district surrounded by a 130-meter tall wall. The school allows students to engage in club activities after school. Each club is ranked according to its overall accumulated points gathered from various club activities and school events. The school's periodic Tenshou Gakuen Singing Contest is where many students compete.

Time Travel Shoujo is based on a 1983 book titled Jishaku to Denki no Hatsumei Hakken Monogatari by Japanese educator Kiyonobu Itakura. It is part of the Hatsumei Hakken Monogatari Zenshuu series which describes the story of various scientific discoveries and inventions throughout history. The 1983 book focuses on discoveries related to magnetism and electricity.

The series is a spin-off featuring Hyoubu Kyousuke, leader of the criminal esper organization Pandora. He aims to bring about a revolution for the sake of his fellow espers. The show follows Hyoubu Kyousuke as he leads his organization on a mission to change the world. His determination and leadership are put to the test as he faces challenges along the way.

Based on Idea Factory's romance adventure game: Yukimura Chizuru has come to Kyoto looking for her father, a doctor who has gone missing. While there, she witnesses a fight between an Oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody, the Shinsengumi debates on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for. The Shinsengumi then takes Chizuru along on their search after the missing doctor, from adventures to adventures.
