Midnight Man
Max Raban has a phobia of daylight. His dreams of becoming a journalist have diminished since he's found himself rummaging through rubbish bins in search of celebrity trash. When Max uncovers what looks to be an important international conspiracy, life takes a turn, but not necessarily for the better.
The Brief
In this engaging blend of courtroom drama, suspense, intrigue, humour and humanity, Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek) stars as criminal lawyer Henry Farmer, a crusading barrister who is honorably engaged in the fight for truth and justice in the courtroom. Possessing a tremendous gift for cross-examination and a silver tongue in vital closing speeches, Henry is a formidable opponent and greatly admired by his colleagues. However, his personal life is chaotic with a huge workload, massive gambling debts and unrequited love.
McCallum
Gritty and realistic, McCallum stars John Hannah as forensic pathologist Dr. Iain McCallum. Working in the morgue of St. Patrick's Hospital in London's East End, McCallum and his colleagues find and interpret forensic evidence, using their skills to ensure that the guilty are punished and the innocent go free.
Driven in part by his own demons, and caught between budget constraints and demands by the police for quick answers, McCallum often finds himself launching his own independent investigation into the lives of the deceased.
