This series is set in New York City, 1967 in the Public Morals Division where cops walk the line between morality and criminality as the temptations that comes from dealing with all kinds of vice can get the better of them. It centers on cop Terry Muldoon (Burns) who knows the line between the good guys and bad guys is thin, and he is determined to raise his sons to be honest and hardworking as he deals with the dark underbelly of the vice world.
I've never watched mobster type shows before, this one has some good actors in it. Always love that guy Michael Rapaport (ever since I saw him in Special), and recognise another from Justified in here too.
I think it's a great show, if you're sick of mobsters then eh I guess, nothing will make you happy. But if you like good shows then this one is a keeper.

I tried one ep and dropped it. Too familiar and too obvious.

This is an entertaining show guys, give it a look.
If you're into mobster stories, slightly dodgy cops vs robbers, blurred lines type stories, you'll love this.

Awesome little show so far. Very gritty and dark.
