Raising Dion follows the story of a woman named Nicole Reese, who raises her son Dion after the death of her husband Mark. The normal dramas of raising a son as a single mom are amplified when Dion starts to manifest several magical, superhero-like abilities. Nicole must now keep her son's gifts secret with the help of Mark's best friend Pat, and protect Dion from antagonists out to exploit him while figuring out the origin of his abilities.
Just finished the last episode of the first season. While the IMDb rating increased to a solid 7.2, I ended up rating it 6/10.
The last episodes didn't really do it for me...

1/10 for me
For me it was really cheesy and predictable so I stand by my rating @lighton
Then a 3/10 or 4/10 might be justified... it's not totally awesome, but it's not total crap either.
Some episodes are clearly not as good as others, but on average I like the show enough to continue. :) (Wish they had a bigger budget, but that's true for other shows too.)

Watched it all, final review -
Rated PG Stupid (may contain references to Christianity).
Though I am glad that dumb kid Dion now has a dumb kid nemesis to twack him around I guess next season.

That makes no sense to me... it might not be a good fit for you, but 1/10? Really? So bad that it can't be worse? Come on!

His "super name" should be Nature Boy.
Because that will stop the kids picking on him in school ;)

Was is that crap?
Been tempted to watch it but the reviews aren't looking good.
6.3/10 @ IMDb (387 votes) isn't bad. Why don't you give it a try and see for yourself?
I've watched 1x1. I expected "great", and at least got "good"! The special effects were superb, really great for a TV show. We'll see how the show unfolds.
