Jeff Randall and Marty Hopkirk are best friends and private detectives. The partnership is broken when Marty is killed in a hit-and-run accident while crossing the street in front of his home. After the funeral, Jeff is startled when Marty's ghost appears to him and tells him it was murder, not an accident.
