Just finished it.....and ....it took real effort watching it to the end. I mean; it did have its moments here and there wtih the actionscene with Richard Baxter as the series highnote imho. Also I thought Lance Reddick did a fine job, other than that though...I gave it a 3/5 and I am not particulary sad there is no S02.

I'll still finish season 1 when I have time, but I won't be too sad that there won't be another season.

Sweetie, first - you did not get to anybody and this discussion will end as always, you looking for your safe space, but regarding "you guys use it for all racists and the like around the web in general" as I already shared the cultural impact of calling everybody racist for no good reason and the rest your woke vomit in another topic, it actually echoes very, very far - you literally are getting people killed, because orcs in Muhosransk take it seriously and are not informed that you are a marginal group of people, they are convinced that the whole West (me including) is like you :) Tho looking from the bright side - at least you have achieved something.

It took you a week to find your way out of your safe space to respond, so I think we already saw who needs their safe space around here..

Also if you are going to misquote me at least try to do a better job. The sentece was ”Or do you guys use it for all racists and the like around the web in general?” see? It's a question, not a statement. A question you didn't answer by the way. And nobody called anyone here a racist. Maybe you should calm down, take a breath, and read through the thread again.

You also haven't really addressed the point that the RE games were here first and arguably a bigger influence on zombies in pop culture than the first RE movie, which you claimed kickstarted it all again.

Are you actually trying to say that some people on the internet wanting racisms go away is the cause and are also actually responsible for war? That is what I'm assuming you mean, I could be wrong because I don't understand every reference you make. I don't think I'm in the same echo chambers you are. Could you explain what you meant?

Was me saying people want racism to end ”woke vomit” and if so do you feel ending racism would be bad?

I look forward to hearing something completely unrelated from you in a week or two, sweetie

I remember a happier time when people were allowed to have differing opinions without being labelled "racist or sexist or toxic", now those labels seem to be thrown around every time someone has a differing opinion and others are trying to force their ideas and views on others through shows, and social media which only perpetuates more hatred.

Where are all the people on this forum that always complain about the ethnicity and/or gender of the baddie? They usually show up as soon as the show airs, but nothing for this show.. I wonder why that is..?

Probably because "they" knew it was going to be trash and didn't bother watching...looks like "they" were right.
Considering how many shows and episodes of those shows they do watch when they complain about them, I have a hard time believing none of them watched even the first episode.

Im a pretty big fan of the franchise, played RE1 on release and most but not games all since. I saw virtually all the Mila Jovovich RE movies in the cinema.

I did not bother watching this, it was blatantly obvious this was not about creating an entertaining series that respects the legacy franchise but it was all about pushing "the message."

Again with the quotes.. What is that?

What is ”the message”?

"they" are all over the internet, imdb reviews trashed, first memes mocking this shitshow I saw 2 hours after I suffered through 15 min of the first ep, all variations, including the Netflix adaptation classic meme, where even grass becomes black and diversified for some reason :) And the most criticized I saw Lance Reddick casting choice, even one black guy was bitching about it :D

Plus "they" can have whatever opinion they want, you are not the thought police, sweetie.

I really got to you with that sweetie word, didn't I? :D

I never said they can't have their opinion. You don't need to get all defensive. All I asked where all the folks were with their opinions. Usully they are immediate and super vocal so the silence was strange.

Also what's with the quotes around the word they? Is this some internet thing I don't know about? I used they to refer to some of the users here who usually complain about these issues, but the way ya'll have been using the quotes, it feels like you have a different meaning. Or do you guys use it for all racists and the like around the web in general?

… Resident Evil which was a masterpiece of the time and largely kickstarted all zombies genre since 2002…

From the original Resident Evil…

Oh sweetie.. if you think that's the origin and original RE I have some news for you..

Sweetie, check the stats how many zombie shows/movies and at what frequency are since Resident Evil (2002).

I'm fully aware what was before that. It was at best a very narrow, trashy horror movies lovers genre, since then it went mainstream. And because it was not garbage like this one :D
Sure didn't seem like it from your post.. It's ok, we can't know everything..
