Set in the idyllic, beachside hamlet of Dolphin Cove, Return to Paradise is six gripping, twisting and fiendishly clever murder mysteries - all against the spectacular backdrop of the Australian coastal landscape.
Australian ex-pat Mackenzie Clarke is the seemingly golden girl of the London Metropolitan police force - with an intuitive approach to detective work, she has built a reputation for being able to crack the most impossible of cases. However, she's suddenly forced to up sticks and move back to her childhood home of Dolphin Cove, a beautiful, coastal paradise... and Mackenzie's worst nightmare.
Sorry, no info about the next episode of Return to Paradise is available yet.
The TV show is either in vacation or waiting to start their new season. When information about future episodes becomes available, it will be posted here.
Just watched Episode 05, it was really good. The show grew on me with each episode watched.
The cases are still not "fiendishly clever" but definitely got more interesting and sleuthish than I anticipated.
The quirkiness of Mackenzie was at first too much on-the-nose, but also grows on you. The other characters could use a little bit more personality and background but hopefully this will be further explored.
Probably not in the 6th and last episode of Season 01 but maybe in a possible Season 02.
I am definitely gonna keep watching it.

This is one of those shows that is so bad, that it's already good again :)
Based on the first episode:
Do not expect "fiendishly clever murder mysteries" or a detective who "cracks the most impossible of cases" - that is not what this show is.
This is a very light-hearted cop-comedy, where the fun comes from how simple the cases actually are :).
Victim washed up on the shore and her first "deduction" is: Check the lungs
