Five years have passed since the events of the Cathedral of Catania and the believed death of the Abbot in the explosion of a petrol pump. Rosy actually changed her life: she moved to the shores of Liguria, under the identity of Claudia Lodato (in honor of her friend-enemy Claudia Mares who died years ago), she works as a shop assistant in a supermarket and is engaged to Francesco, a man thoughtful and reliable that loves her without knowing her true identity. But Rosy's past is too cumbersome to stay buried for a long time. Two mafiosi, the brothers Mirko and Stefano Sciarra, turn to her bearers of a truth that shakes from the foundations her new life: her son Leonardo is still alive. Rosy has a new reason to go back to fighting, but she has to beware of Luca, deputy police chief and Francesco's best friend.
