Before we only had "all", "active", "inactive", and these are updated options: Any Status Active - all shows that are not known to be cancelled or ended Running - shows with episodes in the last year and a half In Development - shows with no episodes whatsoever Upcoming - shows that have only future episodes known In Hiatus - shows that have not aired episodes for more than an year and a half Cancelled/Ended - shows that are known to be either cancelled or endedTry it in our Browse section, your Watchlist and the top charts - hot, trending, from my creators and recommended. Let me know what you think and how that works for you. All feedback is, as always, greatly appreciated! Tue, 10 Sep 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Forum updated, responsive and more Our forum software is now updated and the forums are now finally mobile friendly! In addition, the links to the latest forum topics (on the homepage) are now visible on your mobile device as well (previously, those only showed up on desktop browsers). I worked on this for a couple of days and tried to fix every incompatibility and add every little tweak we've manually done over the years, but it's possible (almost certain) I've missed something. Please check out the forums and let me know if you find something broken or not working as it did before! Tue, 30 Jul 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Quick update regarding show ratings and filtering by year Shows that are yet to air can no longer be rated (also all ratings for such shows are now cleared up). This should've worked like that from the beginning. Apologies for not implementing it sooner. Also, to make our browsing and discovery features more powerful - you can now filter by year: in the Browse section, you can pick a specific year to filter by in From My Creators and Recommended discovery charts, you can chose narrow down based on recencyLet me know how those work for you! Tue, 16 Jul 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Updated Top Charts Just pushed out an update to all of our show discovery Top Charts, hopefully making them better looking (especially on mobile), more robust and useful. Here is a full list of the changes: The top charts now can be filtered by show status, prominent and all channels and all genres. Up until now, only some of these filters were available on some of the charts. All charts are now available to all users - if you haven't - go check them out now! Advanced filtering is still only available to our Premium members.Trailers now popup on the screen (instead of being embedded on the page). This is faster, more user friendly and works better on mobile.I'm currently working on an additional type of discovery chart, based on daily (weekly, monthly ...) show page visits (as opposed to watchlist additions and ratings). Check out the charts here: Hot | Upcoming | Trending | From My Creators | Recommended and let me know! Also, I absolutely hate how our current show lists look on mobile. Anyone with a design eye and ideas on how to massively improve that? I'll work on it anyway, but all feedback and suggestions will be highly appreciated! Thu, 11 Jul 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Minor website additons that make sense? Hey everyone. Here are two little changes/additons to Next Episode: On the Homepage, in the "Discover Other Great Shows" section, there is now a "Fresh" tab which lists the most popular shows airing today. Additionally, this section now remembers what you opened last and will default to the tab that you leave it on.In the search engines settings, the option to remove years from show names has now been upgraded to remove all bracketed info (like channel, country or year). Let me know if you find these useful. What other tweaks/functionality do you want to see added here? Thu, 25 Apr 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Little site tweaks Everyone seemed to have liked the recently added grouping of episodes in the calendar - so this is now available on the homepage as well (today, tomorrow, yesterday lists as well as the little upcoming calendar on the right). The setting has been moved from the calendar to the site wide settings. You'll need to turn this on again. Another little addition is the country name in the "airs on" section on the show details page. As always - please let me know how those work for you or any other feedback/suggestions you have! Wed, 12 Dec 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Some recent updates Just some quick updates to keep everyone in the loop of what's new around here: Our Facebook and Instagram pages are now updated more frequently and with cool stuff too! There is a new setting for our calendar page, where you can group episodes (when more than 3 in a day) The Premium membership page was recently redesigned and the trial period is now 30 days (instead of 14 as it was before)! To help get the word out about Next Episode - today we launched on Product hunt! Check it out!We have big updates coming up to our iOS and Android apps (though I can't promise when they'll be out). What's on your mind - any website or app features you're missing or maybe comments or issues you have? Wed, 28 Nov 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Separate filter (and notifications) for different movie quality? I was wondering (and couple of users suggested it as well) - do we need to track separately movie quality for 720p, 1080p and 4k? Do you want to be able to filter your movies (and setup notifications) for when the movie is out in, for example, 4k specifically? For now - it's one state - either HD released or not (though you can mouse over the HD released icon and see in which quality is it released), but I can add additional filters and notifications if there is enough demand for it. HD releases is a Premium members feature only. If you're not yet Premium - seriously - it's about time you experience the site in all its awesomeness! It's free to try, cheap after and supports Next Episode greatly. Mon, 12 Feb 2018 00:00:00 +0000 New EPIC Premium feature - Movies HD Released status! This is something I wanted to implement for quite some time now - and finally - it's done! Next Episode is now monitoring scene releases and is tagging movies when they're out in 720p, 1080p and 4k. You can filter out My Movies by their "HD Released" status and turn on a Movie is released in HD notification. Let me know how it works for you - the matching of the movies to their scene release will not be perfect - so please let me know of anything wrong you notice and I'll keep improving the matching algorithm! Tue, 06 Feb 2018 00:00:00 +0000 New site feature - import from IMDb lists You can now import all kinds of (public) lists from IMDb containing TV shows and/or movies. Go to the import page and paste a personal IMDb list or any top list available there. I may've missed some edge cases, so please - check out how it works for you and report all issues in here. This is a Premium feature - so if you haven't checked it out yet - now is a great time to try Premium. Tue, 30 Jan 2018 00:00:00 +0000
