The series takes a look at the the psychology and science of eating as it scrutinizes the eating habits of overweight families. The series is presented by Anna Richardson. Different overweight families agree to be filmed with 24-hour camera surveillance. Anna then confronts the families with the extent of their secret eating in the Secret Eaters incident room. Dr Richard Marshall and dietician Lynne Garton analyse their diets.
