Sense8

This sci-fi thriller is described as "a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted" and will premiere late next year - presumably, all in one sitting. It was born from a late-night conversation among the Wachowskis, "several years ago," about the ways in which technology is great but also terrible.

After watching the first season, I so understand why it was cancelled - the show should have been called senseless..

This show started to feel like the last episode of Lost, but never ending.

Why is this show listed as "Canceled/Ended" when there is still a 2 hour series finale set for 2018?

The first season was really good, the second season was amazing!! They really found a rhythm and made it work. Season three would have been fucking awesome!!!!! They really left season 2 in the most perfect place to start something wonderful!!!! Too bad Netflix decided to cancel this show... Don't they understand that good shows need time to catch on?!? The bigger audience only started watching GoT and HoC after the second was released a long time... Are they really that stupid at Netflix to don't understand that it's the early adopters that they should be tracking?!? I guess so...

I totally agree with you and posted the above in a message of my own.

Sense8 is an amazing show. When I watched the first episode I could not quite understand it so I googled an explanation of the show and then I watched it again and thought wow now I comprehend this great show. Sense8 draws you in and the acting and action is fantastic. Also the spiritual aspect of Sense8 is really cool and judging by their Facebook page people love the show from right around the world and they now have over 30,000 followers and growing daily.
I was shocked that the powers that be cancelled this show after 2 seasons but brought back only a 2 hour special to appease fans.

PLEASE make season 3 of Sense8 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just watched the first episode and it is BORING! I couldn't get into it. I am dropping it for now. Maybe I will pick it up again another day..

I liked it. Though Leito's story was a mix os soap-opera and Robert Rodriguez, I actually liked it and believe it was truly intentional. Kinda reminds you a bit of Cloud Atlas, in a simpler way. The setup is really slow, what is usual for Straczynski and the whole 5 season thing is his forte (just remember Babylon5, where there was two 24 episodes of setup for the real conflict, tw seasons of conflict and one for epilogue). I guess Sense8 is about the same, though I kinda liked the open ended finale. We get more resolution from this ending than from the first season of GoT, for instance, rsrs. I started watching on a dare with myself, kept going because Freema's ebony-godess-ness (Shakespeare knew his stuff!) and then got really into it in a "let's binge on this" way. The selling point to me is always characters. If the characters are good, the plot holes are bumps in the road. And there are at least 15 great characters: all 11 sensers, African mob boss (very Winston Fisk'y), Amanita, Daniela and Hernando. And I did not think the sex was just filler, sex is about letting your guard down and is one point where the characters start to connect.
