Suits

A corporate lawyer in Manhattan goes on a recruitment trip and decides to hire a driven college dropout.

Suits delves into the fast-paced, high-stakes world of a top Manhattan corporate law firm where hotshot associate Harvey Specter makes a risky move by hiring Mike Ross a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout, as his associate. As he becomes enmeshed in this unfamiliar world, Mike relies heavily on the firm's best paralegal Rachel Zane and Harvey's no-nonsense assistant Donna Paulsen to help him serve justice. With a photographic memory and the street smarts of a hustler, Mike proves to be a legal prodigy despite the absence of bonafide legal credentials.

Love this show - can't understand why anyone would criticise it - it's got witty dialogue; characters with psychological depth; interesting & legal battles; glamour; unusual scripts. Hope it turns into one of those series that goes on forever.

Yeah unfortunately I think SUits has run its course. NINE seasons is pretty darn good, to be fair.

I discovered this show about 3 years ago, and tbh it was instrumental in igniting a new passion for TV (whether that be good or bad). It's a 10/10. I won't pretend losing 3 of the main characters was easy to swallow, but there was still enough there to go on. The background scores were often first class.
There's a breed of critics out there that just thrive on picking apart cinema and TV...

I wouldn't criticise it, but I also wouldn't watch it. Legal dramas (or attorneys) just don't interest me that much.

P.S.: Welcome to the forums :)

Probably not, as Season 9 is the last one unless someone saves the show.

I used to love this show, but with Jessica gone, the mystery of Mike solved and no really good courtroom scenes anymore...I think this show has "jumped the shark"...

When they quit working cases, it became a day time soap and I stopped watching

It was ridiculous, but then the show possibly jumped the shark some time ago. Another season or two and I reckon that's it.

But I guess you all would buy the Donna version of the Alexa? :P
How stupid was that idea?

But Louis is far too manly to be anything so feminine.

*Ahem*
