Swamp Thing centers on CDC researcher Abby Arcane. When she returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland - only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp's mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous - and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.
WTF... Swamp Thing, unstoppable by knives and bullets, victim of a merger!
As anyone who has ever worked with Git should know, when branching is involved, almost nothing can be as destructive as a merge conflict.
Might try a rebase instead?
That article contains a big disclaimer on top saying that that's not the real story now.
Ah, thanks... they've added the disclaimer after I meant to post it here, I didn't read the whole page again.

Anyway, just finished the season/show. Enjoyed it! :)
Make sure to watch the last episode's end credits to the very end.

Well, apparently they will be releasing all ten episodes... the question is, whether its even worth it to watch all the episodes since I cant imagine they'll finish it off properly.

I downloaded the pilot and before I could watch it found out it had been cancelled.....that sure was quick! DC sure is hit and miss, I had high hopes for the franchise...sigh.

What a shame indeed. I was really waiting for this show. Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was one of the best comics ever.

According to Deadline, Swamp Thing is a casualty of AT&T's recent acquisition of the DC Universe parent company, WarnerMedia. Earlier this year, we reported the show's first season was cut down from 13 to 10 episodes. Now, it seems the future of the entire streaming service may be up in the air as a result of the business acquisition.
This much I feared once I first found out about the acquisition. The future doesn't look very promising for DC Universe. :/
What a shame, the DCUniverse shows have been a million times better than the CW Arrowverse. If they want to cancel something, get rid of the abomination that is Bat-Manhater.

According to https://batman-news.com/2019/06/06/why-was-swamp-thing-canceled/ it's more complicated than that.
