The 2016 graphic novel The Beauty is about an STD that makes those affected beautiful. But the disease, dubbed "the Beauty," eventually kills its hosts as part of a suspected sinister government plot. The main characters in the comics are detectives Drew Foster and Kara Vaughn, partners on beauty crime cases who have to find their way past corrupt politicians, vengeful federal agents, and a terrifying mercenary out to collect the price on their heads.
I just finished it. Afterwards I read some IMDB-reviews and found that this is a real divider. There seam to be a lot of people who really dislike the Beauty and some who like it.
I liked it. It's not making any of my top lists, but I really enjoyed it. It's very dark with a bunch of absurd moments, and I couldn't stop watching.

I watched the first one and not sure. There is some good action that is a mixture of stunts and CGI. I will give the second episode a go before I decide.
