A backwoods bounty hunter comes back from the dead with an unexpected second chance at life, and love, and a nearly-forgotten musical career - only to find that his old job now has a demonic new twist.
Finished the Season, it was ok...kinda had higher expectations tbh.
Overall a 3/5. Did not make me care for a second season.
I didn't like the "family business" kinda vibe at all. I liked how he was the "go with the flow" type of person at the beginning.
But then his mama started researching online, where very very very conveniently there was a wikipedia entry for every type of demon they were hunting...ugh.
The drama with his wife and son didn't interest me at all. This should've been a side-plot distracting him a little bit but it basically took over the entire show.
And apart from the last episode the actual fights against the demons were too short and unimpressive.

S01E06... now I am sold... I call it the Ashpisode. And respect, where respect is due... lighting a match-stick with one hand? That takes skill!
And a very nice - even though a bit predictable - season finisher. Hope it gets renewed.

LOL, Raylan Givens and Wyonna Earp are having a Supernatural baby at Uncle Ash's house… erm… trailer.
Looks like fun!
Hehe, we even got Dewey! Midway in Ep3, it is alright… could be done better. But honestly the first time I enjoy Kevin Bacon since Hollow Man.

just figured out why i dont get it.
The television series The Bondsman, starring Kevin Bacon as Hub Halloran, diverges significantly from the graphic novel's plotline. In the TV adaptation, Hub is a backwoods bounty hunter who is murdered and subsequently resurrected by a satanic corporation called Pot of Gold. His new mission is to capture escaped demons and return.
This has nothing to do with The Bondsman novel. So i still hope fore the divine intervention in this series.
So help me god
I don't think the show claims to be an adaption of a comic book series?, at least can't remember reading it in the credits.
