Set five minutes in the future, first-generation American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who's responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.
Watched first 4 episodes was OK but its a TALKATHON so I'll see how it goes but if it doesn't vhange no season 2 for me

5 Episodes in and I am about to give up...with every episode this show gets worse and worse.
Too bad, I liked the premise and the characters, but the storytelling & writing has just become horrible...
My breaking point was when
the Operatives went into that french club and announced themstelves with "Orphanage, stand down!" ...omfg, who thought that was a good idea?
Didn't they say that "most even don't know The Orphanage exists" - so maybe don't shout the name of a super secret government agency in public....

What is it with people in shows holding phones upside down while calling? how is this obvious detail overlooked?

Speaking of Episode 02...
well that was not really where I was expecting this will go...pretty big change in focus character(s) in this one.
Let's see where this is going.
Seriously, that cover story about one guy having a heart attack in the middle of the op is laughable...if The Orphanage is the top of the top of clandestine services and they try to inviltrate them, this would never convince them that the OP isn't compromised...
To show cane guy at the end of the episode...meh.
To earn a place where he belongs
To build a place where she belongs
Are they trying to tell us something with that, I wonder what?

The biggest challenge here is to look at Simu Liu seriously if you have seen Kim's Convenience (a great show btw)
Only discovered that show last year, great watch :)

Ep 2 the phone with a microscope? come the F on, that really put me off. in half a mind to quit right now, they'll repeat this bullshit, but then again brain hacking isn't a real thing either
Please write what Episode your spoiler concerrns outside of the spoiler tag, thanks :)
This spoiler concerns EP02

First episode was pretty good...
It looks a bit too normal imho, considering the (somewhat) futuristic concept of mind-hacking. A little bit more Sci-Fi wouldn't have hurt :)
I like Simu Liu as an actor, but he overdoes it here with the lack of facial expressions.
Since with Episode 2 the fake behaviour will start, I hope we get to see some more variety.
Storywise they did a good job of
setting up all the suspects of "whodunit". Almost feels like a murder mystery :)

I think it will be interesting to see how they handle some undercover situations since he has to act like he doesn't know. Yeah its a small % of overall plot, but its the little stuff that trips up an undercover agent.
1 - Clandestine meetings. They can probably work this into something like wifi dead zones and no way for the transmitter to buffer hours of data.
2 - Girlfriend and s3x. The undercover agent-girlfriend is going to know its being live streamed. If they're celibate that's going to look funny.
3 - Any other private moments that he now knows they've been watching all along. What are his habits when he's alone? Does he wank-off every Friday night to S&M porn? Does he pick his nose in the car? Does he put up photos of his boss when he's target shooting at the range? Whatever he did in his private life he has to continue doing as if he doesn't know he's streaming.
