The Field Of Blood is set in the Scottish city of Glasgow and centers on would-be journalist Paddy Meehan, who currently works as a copygirl in a newspaper office.
Paddy's ambition is to become an investigative journalist as she strongly believes that there have been miscarriages of justice and that reporters can sometimes be the only hope. She seizes an opportunity to start her career after she becomes embroiled in a dark murder case.
