Sorry, no info about the next episode of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is available yet.
However, our last information about it is this:
Oct 14, 2022: "With filming only having just begun, [...] it’s unlikely that we’ll see [season 2] on our screens before the first quarter of 2024 at the earliest."
I love it! I like a good story build up and character development. this first season is setting the stage. I, too, enjoy that it isn't full of gratuitous sex and violence and is letting a story unfold.

Brilliant! What an excellent series. Me and the wife thoroughly enjoyed it. No unneccecary ridiculous gory violence (like GOT-House of the Donkey), just good storytelling, as it should be.
I'm glad they renewed it for another season. For all the nay-saysers, if you don't like it, stop watching it, like i did with House of the Donkey after Ep 3 or 4.
Simples!

My guess is they may be elves who betrayed their kind by serving Sauron, some kind of early dark elf.

so the show is now over. Am I right in thinking the 3 silvery people thought that the big hairy guy was Sauron but in fact he is Gandalf? And that the pretend king is in fact Sauron?
A better end than I thought there would be
My question is who are they?

108, quite a subversive end, mildly engaging. I would've edited out more of the harfoot story though, it dragged on needlessly.
@Nightcrow, did you marathon this yet?

I think I am done, I just find this show ... boring? I am just not into it.
I found myself skipping through half of it anyway in the last couple of episodes.
GoT vs LotR , I choose GoT, it keeps me engaged at least.
well you will be glad there is season 2 to wait for.
It is a show to watch if you have nothing else that day?

107 I didn't realize....
...the Volcano is Mount Doom in Mordor! Harfoots, Elves, Men, possibly Dwarves all strolling through Mordor like it's Sunday afternoon because at one point The Southlands (Mordor) was a safe place to go. Given the CGI of the Volcano blast and how they were all directly in it, no one should've survived that, it would've melted their bodies, think Pompeii, so, I thought that was pretty dumb. If they were just outside of the blast, then ok, or if Galadriel had used some form of magic to protect them, sure, but to have all the lead actors survive a volcano blast as though nothing had happened; so dumb. So we can expect end scenes to have no stakes? Straight out of the CW playbook! lolz
My rating for the series so far: 6/10. Tagline: A disjointed work that fails to capture the fantasy of Tolkien.
What's everyone's rating for The Rings of Power so far?
I agree with them standing near a base of a volcano that size with that type of eruption and living, I just was able to put it in the hey it is a fantasy slot and overall I really like it, so far I'd rate it a solid 8/10.
The thing about fantasy (the good kind anyway) is that it can be as wild and magical as you want it to be but it has to be internally consistent and follow its own rules. There is nothing in the rules of Middle Earth to suggest that either a human or an elf could survive a pyroclastic flow by closing their eyes and leaning into it or why a small group of genetically isolated proto-hobbits would have black hobbits and white hobbits when there should really only be beige hobbits.
I wonder how they dirtied them all? roll them all in ashes? lol
