The five appear to have succeeded in getting their moves right.

I watched it all and I'm a little confused. But it left off with an opening for a 2nd season!

I am on the fence too, I watch half of the first one and stopped.

It was odd, but watchable because of good acting and decent scripts.

I've been on the fence about whether or not to watch this because of the mix reviews but what the hell, I'll give it a stab. I should be able to knock this season out in eight hours flat. ;)

Thought it was bit shallow tbh..wanted it to be great though, the premise is good and Marling's movies have been great. Ended up switching to binge-watching Orphan Black instead.

It wasn't Stranger Things good, but certainly a mindf---.

Can be non-linear and slow in parts; but, well worth watching.

The series centers on Prairie Johnson, an adopted young woman who resurfaces after having been missing for seven years. Upon her return, Johnson calls herself "The OA", exhibits scars on her back, and can see, despite having been blind when she went missing. The OA refuses to tell the FBI and her adoptive parents where she has been and how her eyesight was restored, and instead quickly assembles a team of five locals to whom she reveals that information, also explaining her background story. Finally, she asks for their help to save some other missing people who she claims are currently in the same situation she has described to them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_OA
