The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin Next Episode
Sorry, no info about the next episode of The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin is available yet.
The TV show is either in vacation or waiting to start their new season. When information about future episodes becomes available, it will be posted here.
One is clear, this is a couple light years from Braveheart. Boring, all over the place everything, from history to myths. There are apples mixed with tables. And yeah, it is a religious cringe, lol. "one true god", lala. I think 2 eps is enough of this art for me :D
p.s. They even managed to do a freestyle geography, there are British Alps somehow, haha

The first episode full blown paganism propaganda, it's unforgivable, in that period jesus faily tale was legal already for some 100 years in Roman empire and official at least a couple of decades. Druids and their false gods - not counting the whole blasphemy of Atlantis angle :)

I gave up after Episode 04...not because of any religious stuff, or modernization of the story.
I guess it was just not coherent enough for me to make sense.
Same here, let's forget about religion and identity politics for a moment and accept that the source material (mayb, don't know... haven't read it) perverts the Artus / Merlin saga or historical references.
Episode 1 was a bit cheesy and I had no idea where it would go, episode 2 kind of made sense but with ep3 they just lost me. Incoherent story telling, constantly changing angles and story fragments, time jumps... nothing makes any sense whatsoever. Episode 4 I dropped after a few minutes as it didn't get any better. And.. pretty lousy actors I may say.

Now I need to watch this to see what they have done here. I guess then there are no mandatory gays, black queens in middle ages in Europe, random gender roles etc. usual mindfukk of the opposite ditch :D

1 i like most things middle ages and the arthurian legends/mythos...
2 i really am not a fan of christian rewriting things..
but 4 good episodes out of 7 is not bad....

Is that like, the book source stuff? I jumped off this cause, yeah, I'm a Merlin fan, but the whole thing felt off. Guess this is definitely why. Talk about cultural appropriation lol.

To be fair, this is running on Daily Wire. It's what they do.

WTF! This is appalling and despicable!
They perverted the synonym of THE Druid and THE Magician into a second Jesus?!?!?
This is a christian propaganda/mindfukk series, beware!

and/or maybe add a comment from the creator "Jeremy Boreing" to the description, as a general "warning" to all viewers, since it is rather "veiled" in the first 4 episodes but is made abundantly clear in E05 - and it is nothing anyone would suspect in a "Merlin"-Series!

"The Christian film world is inspiring to me; one, because I am a Christian; and two, because I think that they did a very good job of identifying an underserved audience and building over the last two decades to answer that inefficiency. It's not the space that I want to operate in. I think The Pendragon Cycle is probably the most Christian piece of mainstream entertainment since Braveheart, but it is not a piece of Christian entertainment. I'd say it's replete with my values, but it's not didactic. It possesses my Christianity and it possesses my politics, but it's not defined by those things.
I often say the most important Christian film of my lifetime is Braveheart. Note that I don't say The Passion of the Christ from the same filmmaker. Passion of the Christ is a beautiful work, and it is truly a passion play made by Mel Gibson. But I think that Braveheart is a is a far more effective vehicle for ensuring that our value, that the culture of Christians, is part of the common culture."
