The show focuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, having not aged and unaware of their own fatality. As they attempt to resume their lives, strange phenomena and gruesome murders begin to occur.
Still waiting for season 2 of the original French show Les Revenants. It should start soon (after a 3 year break!).

Just seen the first episode, and I didn't mind it. Probably because they literally more or less remade the French show Les Revenants scene for scene, just dumbed down for certain audiences perhaps. :)
I had to laugh though, when it finished, the A&E slogan appeared...
