The Spook Who Sat by the Door is an upcoming American television drama produced by 20th Television and Lee Daniels Entertainment for FX. An adaptation of the 1969 novel of the same name by Sam Greenlee, it stars Y'lan Noel as the fictional Dan Freeman, a CIA officer, veteran, and black nationalist who fights against the racial inequalities present in the agency he works for.
