Szczecin, the turn of winter and spring. The body of a young woman rises to the surface from under the breaking ice. Who was she, why did she die, who did she leave behind? Did those who mourn her today really know her? These questions and the search for answers to them will be for the main character a strong, though initially unconscious, impulse to confront her own situation: a single mother who plays the role of a perfect policewoman, and most of all a human being in a time of crisis.
