For forensic doctor Dr. Theresa Wolff, death is her job and life is her passion. She moved from Berlin back to her old home in Jena to take over the management of the Institute for Forensic Medicine. To understand more about the circumstances of death in violent crimes, she also researches the lives of victims. In her first case, the brisk forensic scientist, who is described as heartily rough and direct, clashes with the responsible investigator Robert Brückner.
