First season was good, second one was meh.

With great regret, I have to say that I agree that season 2 is a poor shadow of 1.
The first was surprising good, both in quality and in keeping with the whole Transporter theme from the movies.

Season 2 is just like 20 other mid-season replacements.
The chases and driving and scenery and bad guys and ladies to rescue and villains to dodge, all are so much weaker. Even his relationship with the inspector has been watered down.
Clearly they got a new team of writers.

I forgot what happened to his first lady that helped him out with jobs... Carla?

Anyway yeah the second season is kinda "meh" so far. Lot of the things that made Transporter fun (the car, his "rules", etc) are just ignored/missing now.

Wow, season 2 is really bad.
The driver looks really old now.
There is a lot less driving.

Although it's not the first time this line was used : Gleaming the cube (1989)

Still a line that brings joy. :)
