Tulsa King

Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi, just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a "crew" from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that, to him, might as well be another planet.

Anyone notice the background music bring in a slowed down Eye of the Tiger riff in the latest ep? after the big shootout

Even more obscure, in the first episode, really early on, I'm sure they played a riff from Rambo. I probably only heard this as I'm a fan of C64 music.

You mean the Commodore 64? Hated that little shit. But loved how they made it do things it wasnt supposed to. I just really hated the keyboard. Typing in magazine programs was a fricken nightmare. That was one well made computer. And that was one thing I did not notice. Thank you for pointing it out.

Yep, the Commodore 64. Music by Martin Galway, based on the OST... loosely.

I love it, best acting I've seen from Stallone.

What acting?

He is playing every character he ever was. Change mob to boxing and you have Rocky. Change mob to mercenary and you have The Expendables. etc. etc.

This guy only acts one way.

this was a good one :D

Only two types of people wear pinky rings... Mobsters and British aristocracy. And something tells me your
boss ain't no aristocrat.

Nice show, doesnt feel like a chore to watch and Stallone is made for this role.

Agree, Stallone finally has a serious role where he can show that he can be more than an action hero.
