Inspired by the Manga novels, Warrior Nun revolves around a 19-year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She discovers she is now part of an ancient order that has been tasked with fighting demons on Earth, and powerful forces representing both heaven and hell want to find and control her.

I think this is good news, I like the concept and universe but I dont think the writers have shown they have enough story in each season for 8-10 episode seasons so far and they have seemed too dragged and slow.
The shorter runtime of a film with a tighter story has more potential imo
well I would prefer the tv series than films. I thought the pace was fine. I enjoyed the scenary and internal shots. if any thing the end of season 1 and start of season 2 missed the coming out of whathisname, Adriel . a bit of a gap. I am surprised it will make it to the cinema though. better than nothing. Now "Foundation" is a dragged out & slow tv series

Warrior Num will have a trilogy of films! and possibly spin-offs?
"The fantasy drama originally canceled by Netflix after only two seasons is coming back as a series of feature films, executive producer Dean English revealed Tuesday in a video.
"I am very happy to announce that Warrior Nun is coming back as a trilogy of motion pictures," English announced. "Once again, a trilogy of feature films. Three."
He continued by hinting that there may be more big news in the future, adding that the movies could launch a wider Warrior Nun universe of "films and TV series following characters that we already know."

I thought season 1 was good, not great. The lead actress just doesn't pull me in, and most of the supporting characters are either poorly written or acted by similarly untalented or poorly cast people.
Season 2 was just... bad. I could not finish. It totally failed to suck me in and I found myself being bored and annoyed while it was on.
oh season 2 had its moments eg when the new pope saunters in( the music is just right) and eyes up his new gear and glances back to see if any of his followers noticed his almost gloating greed. Also the Iron maiden torture scene. And also the scene when the Arch Bishop of Canterbury gets his throat cut & the blood letting starts. And also the getway scene in the human anatomy confectionary van .....with the Mother Superior sucking on a ....
The only weak episode was the last which couldnt make up its mind whether Adriel was friend or foe , at the end. I liked the characters and the acting, the whole show kept afloat by the delightful Alba Baptista
