Dexter Douglas was a typical teenager, with the exception that he had no social life and was a computer genius. However, when trying to install a new computer chip that would make his computer run even faster, his cat accidentally walked across the keyboard and input a special code that would cause the chip to suck somebody into cyberspace. When Dexter Douglas returned from his journey into the internet, he gained the ability to freak out and become Freakazoid, a being that is capable of performing many unique feats, though Dexter's sanity as Freakazoid isn't the same as his human counterpart. After several events that took place on the first day of his transformation, Dexter Douglas decided to use his Freakazoid counterpart in order to fight off the forces of evil, though he often disregards his duties if there's something better on television or if Officer Cosgrove has a fun place to hang out at.

This animated series was produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, with the character of Spider-Woman being specifically created in order for Marvel Comics to have a female counterpart to Spider-Man before any other comics company thought of the idea. For the TV show, only Spider-Woman's real name and powers were kept intact from the comicbook. Everything else about the show's setup was created specifically for the television series. Her origin for the TV show was that as a child she was bitten by a poisonous spider. Her father, Dr. Alexander Drew saved her life by using an untested spider serum that inadvertently gave her spider powers. And now, with Jessica as the head of Justice Magazine, she battles evil as Spider-Woman, with the help of photographer Jeff Hunt, and her nephew Billy Drew. Spider-Man also guest stars in two episodes of the series.

Koyuki Seri is just trying to have a normal school life, but instead he ends up acting as the straight man to his odd classmate, Hanatori Kabuto. Kabuto is is a delusional high school student, whose fantasies range from believing he is a knight on a journey, to claiming that removing his eyepatch will release a darker alter-ego who he refers to as Michael Offenbarung Dunkelheit. Seri is determined not to let himself get pushed around by Kabuto, but it seems that this will be easier said than done!

The New Adventures of Superman was an animated series that premiered on September 10, 1966. The series was produced by Filmation Associates and ran for three seasons. It was based on the popular Superman comics created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The series focuses on the adventures of Superman an incredibly powerful superhero from the planet Krypton who defends Earth from all sorts of dangers. Superman's secret identity is Clark Kent a mild-mannered reporter for the newspaper "The Daily Planet". There Superman worked under newspaper editor Perry White with fellow reporter Louis Lane and photographer Jimmy Olsen. The first season of the series ran from 1966 to 1967 under the title The New Adventures of Superman and featured two six minute Superman cartoons with one six minute Superboy cartoon played between them. Thirty-six Superman shorts and eighteen Superboy shorts were produced for the series. This guide features only the Superman cartoons featured in the series. In the 1967-1968 season sixteen new episodes of The New Adventures of Superman ran as part of The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. Souichi Negishi is a shy young man who came from the rural Ota Prefecture to Tokyo for college and wished to become a kindergarten teacher. However, for some reason he became the singer and songwriter of a metal band named "Detroit Metal City," with a stage name "Johannes Krauser II." Whenever he wears the heavy makeup, Negishi becomes a completely different person, shouting the most vulgar profanities beyond anyone's imagination. With the popularity of DMC increases, Negishi starts worrying his double personalities can have negative effects on his (romantic) life off stage.
