Naota's life is confined to going to school and living with his father and grandfather. The usually tranquil life in Mabase is rudely interrupted by the arrival of Haruhara Haruko, who bursts on the scene by running Naota over with her Vespa scooter and hitting him on the head with a Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitar. Later, Naota is shocked to find Haruko working in his house as a live-in maid.
Haruko's search for the alien being Atomsk puts her at odds with Medical Mechanica. At the same time, Naota is being watched by Commander Amarao. The Commander believes Haruko is in love with Atomsk and Medical Mechanica is out to conquer the galaxy. The fortuitous circumstances get Naota involved in a three-way battle between Haruko, Amarao and Medical Mechanica.

Strangers with Candy
This show follows Jerri Blank, a 46-year-old woman. After 32 years of living on the streets, drug dealing, prostitution, and doing time in prison, decides to pick up her life exactly where she left off, at Freshman year in High School. She also decides to move back home with her father, along with her stepmother and stepbrother.
She is back at Flatpoint High School, somewhat trying to do her best, but only ends up in crazy situations. Two of the most recognized teachers are Chuck Noblet, Jerri's bitter History teacher, who also has a secret relationship with Geoffrey Jellineck, Jerri's kinder Art teacher and somewhat adviser. There's also the overly stern Principal, Onyx Blackman, who sometimes also seems to have it in for Jerri. Jerri must also face problems with the more popular kids, whom she is desperate to fit in with. But she does have a small circle of friends, though she sometimes mock them, especially her Filipino friend Orlando. Though her problems as a street whore are over, new problems are just beginning.
Snuff Box
Edgy sketch comedy show starring and written by Matt Berry and Rich Fulcher. Both main characters take the actor's own names and play hangmen - Berry the 'High Executioner to the King of England' and Fulcher his assistant. Much of the action takes place in a gentleman's club for hangmen, with sketches featuring various bizarre situations and characters throughout.
