Bordertown (1989)
Bordertown is set in the 1880's, and centers around two lawmen, an American Marshal and a Canadian Mounted Policeman, who must share jurisdiction of a small town that straddles the U.S./Canadian border. Both are romantically interested in Marie Dumont, the French widow of the town doctor, who has taken over her late husband's practice.

Sugarfoot
Will Hutchins starred as Tom Brewster, an Easterner who headed west to seek his fortune with hopes of becoming an attorney. Though basically mild-mannered and peaceful, Brewster frequently found himself in violent situations and usually tried to use reason rather than gunplay to get himself out of these tight spots. Because of his peaceful nature and because he hailed from the East, Brewster found himself stuck with the nickname of "Sugarfoot" which was one notch lower than a tenderfoot.
Zane Grey Theater
This was an anthology series based, mostly, on the works of Zane Grey. Grey was a writer of westerns, and this show used both his short stories and books as inspiration (works by other writers were also adapted when the Grey material ran out). Dick Powell hosted, and Harry Lubin provided the music (the song "Way Out West" opens and closes the show).
26 Men
Twenty-Six Men was based on true official files of the Arizona Rangers in the final days taming the old west. In 1901, a law enforcement organization was formed, known as the Arizona Rangers, consisting of twenty-six men: a captain, a lieutentant, four sergeants, and twenty privates. The Rangers preserved and maintained law and order in the Arizona Territory, making arrests of criminals in any part of Arizona. As one of the orginal members reportedly recalled: "The reason there was only twenty-six of us was because the Territory couldn't afford no more." The series, incidentally, was shot on location in Arizona, and many residents of Tulsa and Phoenix played supporting roles.
Black Saddle
Clay Culhane was from a family of gunfighters, but after his brothers died in shoot-outs, he chose to practice law instead of trying to settle disputes the old fashioned way. He began traveling through the New Mexico territory after the Civil War trying to help those who needed legal assistance. He was constantly followed by U.S. Marshall Gib Scott who was convinced that he would turn back to his family's life of crime.

Custer
The Civil War has ended and Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer has do deal with the changes in his life after the war. After a court martial, Custer was knocked down a rank and assigned to Fort Hays, Kansas where he will be in charge of the 7th Army Cavalry Regiment. There, Custer is able to improve the skills of the 7th Cavalry, which he would eventually lead in the famous Battle of Little Bighorn.

The Tall Man
Set in New Mexico during the 1870s, The Tall Man told fictionalized stories of the adventures of two real-life characters, Deputy Sheriff Pat Garrett and William H. Bonney. The Latter was more popularly known as Billy the Kid, a youthful gunfighter with a penchant for getting himself into trouble. Billy and Pat, whose honesty and forthrightness had earned him the nickname "The Tall Man".

The story of a cavalry unit and its attempts to bring law and order to the area along the Texas-Mexico border during the 1870's. Richard Carlson starred as the unit's commanding officer.
