A Familiar Stranger
Shi Qi (Ke Ying) is a talented and good-natured artist who, during one of her painting assignments, learns of an affair between the chancellor's cruel and exploitative daughter, Shen Qin (Kay Song), and the ruler of the realm, King Ning (Wang Ze Xuan). Shen Qin, however, is engaged to marry the powerful general Xiao Han Sheng (Ryan Cheng). But when Shi Qi accidentally witnesses deadly and nefarious goings-on at the court, she finds herself drawn into trouble. Shen Qin devises a way to enlist a magician to swap her face with that of Shi Qi - so that she and the painter can "switch" identities. As such, Shi Qi ends up "engaged" to Xiao Han Sheng, while Shen Qin takes up the painter's identity. But the "real" Shi Qi has already crossed paths with Xiao Han Sheng many years ago - even though he has no idea who she truly "is" now.
The Legend of Hao Lan
Towards the end of the Warring States Era, the States of Qin and Zhao are engaged in a lengthy battle. Li Hao Lan, daughter of the Censor-in-chief of Zhao, is forced out of her own home after being set up by her stepmother. Wimarn Sai
Panin and Arisara meet, in Rayong province, when she helps him after he was attacked by thieves. She mistakes him for a foreman at a construction site and gives him money, as he lost his wallet. Without knowing each other's identities, they both fall in love. Panin is impressed by her generosity, and for once he found a girl that likes him for himself, not for his money or status. She is impressed by his integrity.
When they return to Bangkok, Arisara discovers that Panin misled her about his true status, and Panin discovers that she is the love interest of his younger brother Yoh; so, both are angry. She is upset because he did not dare reveal the truth to his brother, that they have met before, and that they like each other. Panin is upset because he thought she trivialized his love; that she was just flirting with him, just like she is leading-on his brother, and just like she openly flirts with her male friend, Non.
The misunderstandings are compounded with Yoh's obsessive love for Arisara, as Panin struggles with the notion of giving her up to his younger brother.
