Raw series depicting life in the Western suburbs of Sydney, and delving into the complex world of policing and the consequences on those most vulnerable.
Sorry, no info about the next episode of Critical Incident (2024) is available yet.
The TV show is either in vacation or waiting to start their new season. When information about future episodes becomes available, it will be posted here.
The story is definitely good and I think the main character Dalia Tun is a well written and even more so well portrayed character by actress Zoë Boe.
The acting overall was also good, the characters themselves were ok-ish. Especially on the cops-side of the story the characters lost a bit of substance towards the end.
The second half manifested something very annoying, that was barely noticeable during the first half.
This show tends to skip so much story that I sometimes thought, I missed either an after-credit scene or an entire episode...
Either it got butchered in editing or the showrunners clearly don't know what part of the story should be shown on-screen and what can be left off-screen.
Overall just bits and pieces missing that makes you have to guess what has happened.
I believe with 8 or even 10 episodes, it could've been a much better show than it was.
For example, at the end of Episode 4 it looks like Zahra is going to tell Kasim about the kiss with Zil...then it cuts away. At the beginning of Episode 5 we see Zil with a black eye....yeah sure we can guess what happened, but honestly I wanted to see this confrontation on screen.
Same thing happens with Dalia at the end of Episode 5. Ty gives her a beatdown and at the beginning of Episode 6 a week has already passed. I wanted to see the aftermath of that fight...did Dalia call someone to help her, how badly hurt was she - lots and lots of questions.
Zil's death was very well placed and executed (no pun intended). It served the story well.
I honestly wished that Dalia would've gone on the run, that would be a better set-up for a possibly season 2.
I hope at least she will get some jail-time...I can really see her character "being driven" into the live of a criminal. This would fit the story of the show very well.

Damn, like this show a lot. It is very good at building up tension within each episode so far (at EP03).
It could do with a little bit more exposition and background for the characters....hopefully they get around to it in the second half of the season.
