The story of the entire series unfolds through back and forth flashes of the couple's relationship through the years. It includes the reversals of power and status as well as the contexts that let it all happen. In addition, it also presents Fosse and Verdon's contribution to the entertainment industry despite their personal problems.
I'm absolutely enthralled with this show. If you like musicals, you CAN'T miss this. Rockwell and Williams are marvelous, the music is splendid (ENDING OF EPISODE FOUR DAMN IT), they way it switches between events, how it explores their lifes in both bad and good, I'm just so sold on this. I wait for every episode like it's the second coming and I can't get enough of it.
I know you appreciate the catchphrase, and on that note, I plan on giving this a spin at some point. :D
