The show is based about the "normal" lives of a mother, Kath Day-Knight (Jane Turner), and her daughter, Kim Craig nee Day (Gina Riley), but is usually far from normal.
With everything from bad fashion sense to Warnie, this show is one of the best comedies Australia has produced.
