A young aspiring writer discovers secrets about her family's past when she finds herself mysteriously being pulled back and forth in time to a 19th century plantation.
I gave it about half an episode. Did nothing to grab me so tapped out.
I did the same after reading some of the comments here I gave it a go but gave up after about 30 minutes.

Finished watching S01, not bad at all. Tho that bg music is like somebody just got a synthesizer from a store and is randomly testing sound effects it has :D

Sure, only "KKK much" and couple more choices fall solid under "white man bad - black man good" category :) On the other hand, they could do that here a lot more, so overall focusing on the story instead of signaling how a lot of shows prefer to do it in 2022.

Given that its based on a 70's novel by Octavia Butler about time travelling to a slave plantation you wouldn't really expect the white people to come out as the good guys.. Not my favourite novel by her and i read it a long time ago and only really remember it being depressing with several horrific passages one of which i still remember - so I will give it a miss - i would mention it but it may be in the series and i don't know how to put spoiler tags in :). But if its a success maybe they will do a series based on her patternist or Xenogenesis novels which i much prefered.

P.S. Underground is a great show, looks underrated here.
From is way better than this one. But this is just interesting enough to find out what will happen next.
