In Korea's medieval Joseon period, a crown prince embarks on a dangerous mission to uncover the truth behind a mysterious outbreak that threatens the kingdom.
As he delves deeper into the investigation, he discovers a brutal truth that could destroy everything he holds dear. Kingdom is a thrilling historical drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Always been a fan of Korean Movies, especially the zombie ones (Train to Busan for example)...and this time, even wit a TV show, they don't disappoint.
If you are not bothered by the language (many i know are), I would say this is a must watch. While it makes you believe that the whole show is about zombies in the background there is an ongoin political "war" for the throne and it keeps you glued to the chair. When the zombies are lacking the politics step up and vice versa.
Can't wait for season 2.

I was sceptical when I first read about it but the trailer and the (really good) IMDB rating convinced me... I'll give it a try. :)

Already been renewed for a second season so it's safe to get attached to this one :3
That's good - the (tiny) number of episodes is a bit absurd after all. ;) Only Sherlock is worse in that regard.
Kingdom is set in Korea's medieval Joseon period where a crown prince is sent on a suicide mission to investigate a mysterious outbreak that leads him to a brutal truth that threatens the kingdom.

They're doing zombies great here. Also a not so subtle and at times quite humourous critique on the class system and society, a true zombie story. Already been renewed for a second season so it's safe to get attached to this one :3
