In a world rife with magic, a young boy named Mash Burnedead spends his days working out and eating cream puffs. But one day, a policeman discovers his secret, he has no magic power, which is punishable by death. To survive, Mash must apply to Easton's magic academy and become the new Chosen One, or the cop will turn him over to the authorities.
