Inspired by real events, this series tells the story of the bizarre fraud of the Mexican Lottery (Melate) sweepstakes in 2012, with a classic heist structure and flashes of tragicomedy. An ordinary civil servant has been obsessed with winning the Melate Lottery sweepstakes for years. Convinced of his bad luck, and just as he is about to give up this fantasy, the urgent need for money sprouts a simple, and therefore brilliant, idea that will allow him to steal the prize in front of millions of people.
