It pulls HARD on the heart strings from the opening credits for about 8 minutes and you start to think "am I ready for this episode?"
But in one episode they do SO MUCH to show you the heart of the team, how they all have each other's back and just because Gary is a K9 doesn't make it any less true.
This is how short seasons (streamer 10 episode shows) should look. Yeah there's the emotional connection for the audience to the dog... but they don't **rely** on that. They show you the team, the dynamic, backstory for multiple character interactions. This episode was freaking content dense without a single out of place line of dialog or mis-directed scene.
