An adaptation of Halpern's book I Suck at Girls, the single-cam comedy tells the story of "a boy becoming a man and a man becoming a father, in a time before 'coming of age' was something you could Google".
Ep3 was the best one so far... I like that they introduce more drama to the comedy. I'm starting to feel bad for the show... maybe it would have a chance for a 22ep season if this was a fall premiere.

I liked the pilot... it was funny, the cast is likable (Jack was hilarious) and you can't go wrong with the 90s soundtrack. :)
Sadly if you look at the ratings you'll see it may not last even a complete single season.

I dunno... I thought it played out like American Pie, but without the nudity. Gonna check out a few more episodes tho
Based on Justin Halpern's book "I Suck at Girls," "Surviving Jack" is set in the 1990s and follows the relationship between a teenage boy and his aloof dad.

What just happened, i laughed during a sitcom, probably was an accident. Gonna check out another ep, if that strange thing happens again.
