We Own This City

The six-hour limited series from ‘The Wire’ team chronicles the rise and fall of the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force — and the corruption and moral collapse that befell an American city in which the policies of drug prohibition and mass arrest were championed at the expense of actual police work.

Watched the final episode. Good show. I loved that scene close to the very end...

...where they put many of the show's characters in one setting (here in the room where Jenkins teaches). https://next-episode.net/true-blood and (if memory serves) https://next-episode.net/the-deuce did something similar, I love it! :)

Easy with that hoopla there, don't want to get knee deep just yet.

Agreed it's not the Wire but I'm liking it. Haven't seen the latest yet but it's good quality.

It's not as great as https://next-episode.net/the-wire - but still a pretty good show I look forward to each week!

The way they move back and forth through time doesn't fully work for me, I find it a bit confusing.
