Follows Clark Kent as he builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis - and perhaps the world. Lois, now growing into a star investigative journalist, takes aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love, sharing adventures, taking down bad guys, stumbling over secrets, and discovering what it means to be Superman and Lois Lane.
Sorry, no info about the next episode of My Adventures With Superman is available yet.
The TV show is either in vacation or waiting to start their new season. When information about future episodes becomes available, it will be posted here.
Surprisingly (again, not I'm not a fan of cartoons, save of Rick and Morty, after all, I am 40+) but im really enjoying this show :)
You're selling media short if you disregard everything animated IMO. I'd recommend checking a few more out before you write things off entirely
Avatar: The Last Airbender: A Nickelodeon show that can be VERY childish at times. However, if you look past that, and see the story that's being told, and listen to the messages and wisdom that are being passed off in that show, it's a 10/10 show. One of my favorite quotes is from Uncle Iroh, who's an elderly wise man in the show. "If you look for the light you can often find it, but if you look for the dark that is all you will ever see." Seeing how he developed from a War Lord, to losing his kid and becoming the man he is today by being a father to his nephew is some deep, deep character development for a cartoon.
Gravity Falls: A Disney show that is super, super cartoony. The first season is definitely hard to get through cause it's very much so a kids show at that point with some adult references. However, season 2 really was something else, Bill is pure nightmare fuel and I can't believe they showed some of the things they did in a show targeted to kids. If you're into Rick and Morty, this is what Justin Roiland was doing just before Rick and Morty started.
Archer: Great show, especially the first 3-5 seasons, even I admit though that this show has been off the rails for easily 6 seasons now and only recently got back on them. I think the creator of the show was salty that ISIS stole his name (They were ISIS before ISIS existed lol).
Invincible: If you're into The Boys, or are into parody, or anti-hero comic book stuff, definitely worth a watch.
Solar Opposites: If you like Rick and Morty, this is another show that's... basically in the same art and style, also done by the same people.
South Park: Admittedly hit or miss especially lately. People do NOT give them enough credit for how on the nose the political and social commentary of South Park is or can be. The recent episodes where Randy sells weed in China with Mickey mouse was a commentary on the brutal regime of China, how American companies are censoring art and media to cater to the Chinese, and was a commentary on how stupid weed laws are. On top of that we get to see Winny the Pooh garroted, and Randy fucked a Pengalin.
I'll stop there. I love animated series sometimes because you can do things in animation that would be nearly impossible with live action, and you can do it far, far cheaper without endangering stunt doubles.
This is a great post! Thanks!!!
No problem! If I can get you to watch Avatar, I think you'll have the same epiphany I did. I'm only 4 years younger than you are. I was really, really bored and had been recommended Avatar a few times, but was like "I'm in my 30s, I'm not watching a damn Nickelodeon show". Curiosity finally won in the end, and I was forced to question what else I may be missing.
My full list of animated shows.
Avatar
Adventure Time
American Dad
Archer
Bob's Burgers
Futurama
Gravity Falls
King of the Hill
Lucy, Daughter of the Devil
One Punch Man
Rick and Morty
Solar Opposites
South Park
The Tick (both live action series are awesome as well)
The Venture Bros
I also like the DC animated movies. DC live action has mostly whiffed it, but there are some amazing, truly amazing animated ones like Justice League : Dark and Apocalypse. Honestly a few of them have been so good that I really wonder why Marvel won't just expand to animated more often. I've been a comic book nerd since I was a kid though, so I doubt that'll go away... ever at this point.

Couldn't get into it... felt more like a Supergirl series with Superman than what I tuned in for... but that's okay.
I'm glad it's popular, just mean more opportunity for more DC animation which take chances.

M. Mallah & the Brain are always fun. Glad they didn't do anything actually like Project Cadmus from the comics, which is just generally painful.

....and woke-ism hits again.
Totally unnecessary messages in episode 6. Trying to politicize every single show.

Tugging on Superman's cape is one thing, but you don't wanna go calling Waller 'Mandy'. That's just asking for it.
