Shows having cliff hangers at the end of a season is a common trope. It's make people talk about it during the long months that its off in the hopes of building hype and a return audience when it comes back. A lot of times it leaves fans in the lurch when the show gets cancelled making any resolution impossible. As seen on the last episode of The Glades.
Glad to know that Rookie Blue was renewed but disappointed by the last episode. I could easily forget about the show and I expect that happens with other viewers. Before finding this website, I had lost touch with a dozen programs. I didn't know How I Met Your Mother was still on the air!
It was really disappointing how they ended The Glades. I wish they do a wrap-up special but the actors have probably moved on to other projects.
