Sky1 has confirmed that fantasy drama Sinbad has been axed.

The 12-part series launched in July last year, starring newcomer Elliot Knight as Sinbad, alongside Lost's Naveen Andrews as Sinbad's nemesis, Lord Akbari, and Orla Brady (Fringe) as the evil Taryn.

Sky1 told CultBox this morning: "As a broad, family entertainment channel, Sinbad was the perfect drama to showcase Sky1's ambitions for long-running, blockbuster series. We were thrilled with the cast and the production team at Impossible, however, we feel that Sinbad's story has now been told."

They added: "We're in development on a number of exciting new projects and look forward to sharing more news with our customers very soon."

I seriously tried to watch this for few episodes. after i fastforwarded most of the utmost crap i will refuse to watch this any more. shitty acting, even shittier story and crappy cgi. get real british people!

i'm at 1x10 right now and there are better and worse episodes.
My complaint with british shows is usually that it doesn't look like a big budget production but not so here.

As soon as you start fast forwarding a show you can practicly drop it, as you probably miss not only boring but also some key or good scenes.

And you call all the ship on the water scenes or for example the water demon crappy cgi? Duude this is a british show with not US money budgets after all.

Ok another british show i'm recommending what is happening today :)
I'm impressed by the budget this show has for a british show with great special effects and this guy from lost, whatever his name is.

I'm at episode 3 right now and so far i'm positively suprised.
