Clarice is set in 1993, a year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs. The series is a deep dive into the untold personal story of Clarice Starling, as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high stakes political world of Washington, D.C.
I expected it to tank, but was surprised. Rebecca Breeds an Australian pulls off the Appalachian accent rather well. Using PTSD was a normal for Hollywood. Clarice sticking to the man is another expected way for Hollywood. Like to see 3-4 more episode before I give a thumbs up or down.

I quite enjoyed it and am going to give it a few more episodes before I finally decide.

But not hopeless. They might pull it off and give us another Fargo.

Will probably be ruined by various rights disputes. They can only use characters unique to SotL ie Clarice, and can't use Hannibal etc as another company owns the rights to them.....ridiculous situation.
